Hello 2022-2023 Husky Boy Golfers and Families

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2022-2023 SEASON (Starts August 1, 2022)

First, allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Christopher Hoevel and I will be taking over as the boys head golf coach this coming season.  I bring with me 9 years of coach experience (1 of which has been golf).  Along with me will be coach Philip Tronsrue.  Coach T has already spent 2 full seasons as an assistant golf coach.  Most of our time has been coaching on the hardwood or gridiron, however both of us are avid golfers and have played the game our entire lives.  Personally, I remember my first ever round with my dad at our local municipal course.  It was 30 degrees out that day and raining.  Even in those conditions I can remember how addicting the feeling of playing was.  I was hooked and have played the game now for 20+ years.

My philosophy about golf centers around a steadfast positive mentality.  Be present in every shot, have fun, and do not let the adversity of the game overwhelm you.  This and a great dedicated effort in the short game department is what makes golf a much easier game to put up with, because it can be maddening.
